Well what can I say, I'm excited... ooh excited. It seems to be happening, oh I do hope i've not jinxed it now. Earlier this week I was asked if I would consider making a bridesmaid tiara?? Of course I said yes. So after a conversation with Pippa I understood what she needed. It helped a bit as she sent a couple of pics of ones she had seen but wanted something from one and something from another...

So I got to planning...

And then a strange thing happened... Pippa called again, could I do a comb for a 7 year old who was also gonna be bridesmaid... well of course I would but it needed to be simple, not so fussy not so big and it was only to sit in the front of the hair.

So I got planning again....

Then could I do another comb, long story but needed to be the same as before...

Pippa is excited so excited in fact that she has spoken to anyone who listens and brilliantly last night had a call from one of her friends wanted a bespoke AnasPretties bracelet, necklace and headband plus wants to have a jewellery party and loves my stuff..... YAY could this be the beginning of something good???? Oh please please please let it beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Oh I thought I'd post the pic of the first completed tiara for Pippa.... and by the way she loves it! What more could I ask for?

Oh how wonderful and hot it is here in Norwich today, sadly it could be too hot but we shouldn't complain cos it could be raining tomorrow.... ha ha

Still I've found a bit of energy to create my newest piece, a Victorian style choker, the choker part is black fastened at the back by satin ribbon with matching tassles. The necklace part is taken from an older necklace and turned into this modern yet oldie worldie style necklace... Kind or makes me think of the vampire diaries...lol anyway you comments and opinions are greatly appreciated so tell me what you think?

Oh what can I say, the diamond mine inspired necklace has made it thru to round 3... boy am I excited whoop whoop whoop... but my head is hurting thinking its actually quite scary now as i'm up against 7 others from the second round. Its gonna get tough yikes!!!!

Beads Direct World Cup 2010 Competition

OMG what can I say, I entered the previous design into the Beads Direct World Cup 2010 Competition and got thru to the second round. That in itself was a huge achievement for me as I've never got that far in many things I attempt...

Anyway Second round underway and again I had to create another piece of jewellery inspired by my choosen country South Africa. I looked thru books, tralled the internet for inspiration and then thought mum and dad, they have been! So we started talking and diamond mines were mentioned, table mountain, and sunsets and the colours just swam into my head.. this is the second piece. I hope you like
